The Right Solution at the Right Time

Heidi Schlosser
Owner

The owner of ACCTCITE, Heidi Schlosser started the company in 1995. Originally from New York, she came to Maryland as a student at the University of Maryland, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Heidi has a well-rounded background, using her accounting expertise in a variety of industries throughout her career. Prior to launching ACCTCITE, she held positions in retail store management, in operations for a food distributor, in purchasing, cost control and credit management in the hotel industry, and as an accounting software specialist for a trade association.

In the early 1990s, Heidi recognized the need for affordable, outsourced accounting solutions for small and medium-sized businesses that don’t need a full-time accountant on staff — and she created ACCTCITE. Her extensive experience and outsider’s point of view have helped numerous companies establish accounting practices that run smoothly, efficiently and cost-effectively. Her progressive thinking has helped ACCTCITE offer convenient services such as remote data access.

Heidi lives in Mt. Airy with her husband and two daughters.
